How To Get New Followers On Twitter / X Fast And To Have Them Take Action With Your Direct Messages Or Tweets For Monetization

Social media marketing (SMM) is a powerful way to build your brand and increase sales in 2026. All social platforms are affordable and effective methods of generating leads and revenue for entrepreneurs or businesses of all sizes. Twitter, now known as X after the recent rebrand, has been one of the top social media marketing platforms since it launched in 2006 and users quickly began building their followers to amplify their online updates. X gonna give it to you!

Gaining followers, retweets, likes, and engagement has been a goal for Twitter users since the beginning. It has been made more manageable to grow a Twitter.com account using automated digital marketing tools for following, unfollowing, content posting, retweets, messaging, and engagement in the new 2026 SMM landscape.

Growing your Twitter followers on X.com means growing your online influence, even still in 2026. In fact, Twitter is in the spotlight more than ever after Elon Musk's much publicized acquisition and recent political elections. Twitter was written off and unappreciated as a SMM powerhouse for a couple of years in favor of shiny new objects like Instagram and Snapchat (now in favor of TikTok or Threads), but it is still a very powerful platform, especially with a shiny new blue checkmark courtesy of a frugal Twitter Blue monthly subscription. Here is how to benefit from your Twitter followers, tweets, and messages in 2026.

Being a user of Twitter since the beginning, I have seen a lot of changes. Tens of millions of people have come and gone on Twitter.com, including founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey now. Many people have moved on to video first social media platforms, such as YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok and others went on to Instagram and Pinterest, but the fact remains that over 300 million people still use Twitter (now X).

This number is growing as Twitter has worked diligently to bring more features to the social media platform. They are also the creators of Periscope and it is easy now to embed videos into your Twitter feed using that feature or YouTube vids. Just this past week, Twitter made the “notifications” easier to read with larger icons of the users who are retweeting and liking. Twitter notifications have changed along with certain settings. So have tweets lost power? I love Twitter and throughout the years I have made the most money from this social selling platform.

But, I have to warn you that Tweets, promotional DMs, and reposts don’t have as much clout as they used to. I pretty much won’t read a tweet unless it has a photo. That is probably just because I watch my social media feed all day long and have gotten lazy in reading just text. Another thing is that so many people have become savvy content marketers on Twitter, that if your tweet doesn’t have the best, catchy titles, you will be overlooked.

Types Of Tweets That Still Do Well On Twitter / X

How To Improve Your Twitter Performance

- Make your Twitter bio more appealing.

- Determine the optimal time to publish tweets

- Post regularly

- Better understand the Twitter algorithm

- Experiment with various content kinds

- Develop your brand voice and develop distinctive content.

- Learn about hashtags on X and how to deploy them.

Hashtags help you grow your following and results on Twitter as well, including for my Schiemer Financial business. There are significant benefits to using hashtags on Twitter. Brands that use hashtags in their tweets and profiles have seen a 50% increase in post engagement. Tweets with 1-2 hashtags are twice as engaging as tweets without a hashtag. However, tweets with more than two hashtags also saw an 13% drop in engagement.

Top tweets with or without hashtags still work for social media marketing, but if you only have 200 followers you probably won’t notice a ton of people retweeting you. Over the years of consistently following and unfollowing people with the Crowdfire App, Manageflitter, and Tweepi (although I haven't used any of these in years at this point though) I have amassed over 200,000 real followers that have stood the test of time for a decade. In fact, gaining nearly a quarter million Twitter followers on @MikeSchiemer has helped Mike Schiemer gain a net worth of over $1.3 million in 2026 over the course of many years in business.

“Wow, that is great” you might think this if you do X social network marketing in Egypt or the United States alike. But, the reality is that I followed a lot of people, but never connected fully with my followers, besides the initial direct message I send out (which I will talk about in a minute). This lack of connection means my followers don’t really know me as well as they could, not like a true celebrity or leader that “attracts” a following instead of just massively following.

So, was this time and effort on social media a waste of time? Absolutely not. We learn from our mistakes and I try a lot harder to interact with my followers nowadays, and the large numbers still do work in my favor. I get 10 to 40 clicks to each of my tweets that lead back to an article on one of my many business blogs. This might not seem huge, but it really adds up. Most new bloggers don’t even get 40 views to their blog all day. And with SEO value proven from Twitter, the long term business website traffic increase is the real deal.

The answer is a resounding YES. See, growing new Twitter followers are the most interested in you the first few minutes they follow you. After a few days they will probably forget about you, unless you’re a huge leader. So, the most important time to say what you want to say is when they immediately follow you. It would take hours a day to manually direct message everyone who followed you. I get maybe 300 to 500 new followers everyday on the X social network.

Crowdfire is a great app that you can set up and send out a direct message. I chose their “Earth Plan” because it erases their brand’s signature at the end of your direct message and makes your automated message look “real time from you.” This is a very important detail. People will ignore you much more if they see @crowdfireapp at the end of your direct message linking to your domain name

Creating a Direct Message that people listen to and do whatever you want them to. First, I want to cover what NOT to do on Twitter for social media marketing. So many people waste their most important minutes connecting with a new follower by saying things like this in their direct message: “Thanks for the follow! Please like me on Facebook!” “Thanks for the follow. I don’t use Twitter that much, let’s connect on Facebook!” “Thanks for the follow!” (Why even say this? No one will remember your friendliness two minutes from now and you have no “call-to-action" and then an automated message “Thanks for the follow! As a token of my appreciation I have enclosed a link...”

These direct messages simply don’t work anymore, or haven’t worked for the last 6 years. We have heard these a million times and they barely work. Yes you might get 1 out of 200 who do what you want, but why settle for much less than what you could be getting? Why don’t these social media marketing automations work? Because they sound automated! Yes, you need to automate your direct message if you follow a lot of people on Twitter or they follow you, but it doesn’t need to sound robotic. Here is one of the first direct messages that worked for me: “Thanks! We are looking for individuals who are success-driven with a desire to make Extra Income: (my opportunity link)”

Later on, I even took out the “Thanks.” Why did this work? People responded because I got to the point. Don’t worry if you think you sound rude, because in the new technological world of nearly 7 second attention spans (Goldfish have longer attention spans), people are in such a rush that they begin to roll their eyes in about 2 seconds if you don’t get to the point. I have to add, that this message was geared for my network marketing opportunity and I wanted to acquire a ton of sales leads. I worked hard consistently. I think I got 700 leads from this message and 10 or so upgrades. But, that was the problem with this message. It didn’t build trust because it went right to my lead capture page.

Messages work a lot better if you can lead them to a video or a blog article, so they can see you, hear you and read you. The next direct message I tried, which was even better, was: “Thanks! I have a new business and I am looking for partners. Are you open to other business ventures? Here: (my opportunity link)” Again, this was for my network marketing opportunity, but it worked really well. It had an exciting ring to it and it didn’t sound desperate.

The point is, we need to sound authentic in our direct messages just as much as we speak to our friends and family. If you can personalize your direct message by getting the person’s name into the direct message even better! So, instead of saying “Thanks for the follow!” or “Like my Facebook page!,” knock them off-guard by asking them a real question, like: “Did you get your blog yet? I started mine a couple years ago and it has given me the ability to work from home.

Read this real quick: (your blog article on MLM business opportunities)” See what I did? I asked them a question like I would if we just met in a coffee shop. Be real. Be transparent. Get to know your followers and their needs and start developing messages for them. Then, A/B test everything you do. Check which messages are working the best and continue doing it to drive traffic and brand awareness on Twitter.com for tweet and message monetization.

Beware that anything you do online will lose its effect after a while if it gets too spammy, repetitive, or stale. These monetized Twitter messages of mine took a couple weeks to get into high gear, but lost power after a few months. After a couple of years they lost a lot of effectiveness and I had to start tweeting more instead. Keep experimenting. Never leave a message up forever. Also, once in awhile go in and copy and paste your link from the direct message and paste it into a new window on your browser to see if it still works. Social media messaging marketing is a low cost way for entrepreneurs to market their business.

I use Buffer or Goo.gl to shorten all my links. It's a beautiful thing in some scenarios on social media. You don’t want your opportunity links to look like a spammy and cheap link. Shrink it down with Buffer, Bitly, or TinyURL to look more legitimate and less sketchy. Nobody wants to click on a massively long, tacky, and spammy link. Or just pay $10-20 and buy a beautiful and professional custom domain name that redirects to your specific business website. You can always change where the custom link goes in the future if needed, so it will be well worth the $20 per year renewal fee.

Twitter is still one of the most powerful social media platforms. Since I schedule about 20 tweets a day that lead back to my various business blogs, a quarter of my blog traffic comes from Twitter. It also has made me a small fortune in affiliate and network marketing commissions along with advertising revenue and sponsored content. It can do the same for your online business and social media marketing!

Thanks for reading this blog post about increasing your Twitter followers and monetizing your tweets or DMs. We hope this helps motivate marketers to improve their Twitter branding and overall SMM advertising. Please share this post and comment on social media (especially Twitter) if you found it to be useful, make sure to post the link! It will help others grow their Twitter followers fast in 2026!

What To Know About Modern Marketing Strategy

modern marketing strategy

Modern marketing has made quite an impact on the industry. A lot more industries are looking to take to social media platforms to promote their businesses due to the target audience across social media being the largest in the world. Businesses can reach nearly every person around the world having social media and websites on their smartphones with digital marketing. Combine that with the reach of websites, blogs, and email marketing and you can reach over half of the globe to be your customers.

That is why you need to understand marketing and how to maximize your online business branding. If you don't, it could cost you your company and you will end up filing for bankruptcy.

Types Of Marketing

Digital marketing has been used to great effect across a lot of different platforms and especially across the different social media platforms where millions of us spent our spare time scrolling through them trying to keep occupied whilst having so much more free time due to the lockdowns. A lot of companies took to social media during the lockdowns or low budgets to post their adverts across the internet which got a lot of attention and new business with so many people passing through the different platforms and seeing the sponsored adverts which led many to visit the websites due to them being bored and curious to find something new to do with their time.

Marketing is probably the most important thing for a new and old business due to it helping you to be a success or not with there being so much competition out there now and the market is very saturated, so it is more important than ever before to make sure that your marketing ideas are better than rival companies.

Marketer Costs

Marketing does not come cheap but all the businesses that have turned to it have seen a dramatic increase in sales and new customers signing up to the platforms. Over the past few years, there have been more companies than ever before turning to market to help boost their business and this is only set to continue to rise.

Marketing costs depend a lot on your types of strategies, content channels, software (SaaS) programs, and advertising abilities. Content attribution is about what content works. Channel attribution is about where content works. Content is the ingredient, channel is the cooking method - and you need good ingredients and good methods to deliver.

Content Creation

There is reactive and proactive content creation. What kind of content creator are you? I view content creation through one of two lenses, reactive and proactive. A proactive creator is what we tend to think of when we think of content creation. You sit down at your keyboard or your notepad, the vast, empty expanse before you, and you start creating. You write, you draw, you paint, you compose - where there was nothing, now there is something. Your ideas come through pure, unblemished, exactly as you envisioned in your mind's eye. A reactive creator is someone who needs an input to do the same. Someone asks a question. A situation happens at work. A post passes by as you thumb through your feeds on your phone.

Whatever it is, like a spark landing in a pile of tinder, once alight, your creative powers engage and content emerges from the ashes. To be clear, neither type of creator is better than the other. The end product is content, hopefully good. Each is just a different process for getting to the destination. And we can be either kind of creator on any given day. Some days, we're inspired, other days, we need something to bounce off of. But generally speaking, we tend to have a higher level of comfort with one or the other. Here's where this distinction matters: if the content creation situation is a mismatch for your predisposition. A proactive creator put in a reactive situation is going to be endlessly frustrated. They may say I don't want to be answering other people's questions or responding to X influencer's blog post! Just leave me alone and let me do my thing!. They would find always being reactive, never getting to channel their ideas purely to be incredibly aggravating.

A reactive creator put in a proactive situation is going to be paralyzed by the empty page. They will say, What do you mean, just create something? Create what? What does the audience want to know about? What problems are we trying to solve? What is the angle here? The blank page, with nothing to light that spark, is less a canvas and more a prison. It's important to streamline your content towards what works best for your business and skillset.

I lean very heavily towards reactive content creation. I thrive in Q&A, in answering questions, in reading about something that leads me down a rathole of interesting side explorations. It is where I'm happiest. When I create presentations or trainings for people, I always ask for that spark, that list of questions people have as a jumping off point. I need that mental racquetball match to bring out my best. Can I create from the blank page? Yes. Is it my best work? Not on the first attempt, no - and possibly never, because that is just not how I work best.

Put me on stage in a fireside chat with questions, or give me an hour of presentation time with only 20 minutes of presenting and 40 minutes of Q&A, and I will deliver my best work. I know this about myself, and to succeed, I try to put myself in the situations that work for me. What works for you? If you, or someone you manage, doesn't know what kind of creation they are best at, then you run the risk of languishing in the wrong environment

Marketing Supply Chain

What is in your marketing supply chain? Something that occurred to me earlier this year was that marketing has a supply chain - and it is not the companies that make marketing technology. No, our supply chain as marketers are the suppliers that deliver the raw materials we work with to make our products. As marketers, our product is typically marketing or sales qualified leads that we give to our buyers - the sales process in our organization. Whether it’s an automated shopping cart doing ecommerce transactions or a sales representative calling leads or a retail store attracting walk-in prospective customers, our buyers take our outputs. And what’s our input?

What is the supply we buy? Audience attention. We purchase audiences’ attention from suppliers, and with our marketing operations, we refine that attention and pass the refined product down to our buyers. Sometimes we pay money outright for our raw materials, as we do when we pay to run ads. Other times, we’re bartering for our raw materials, as we do when we create content for organic search. Does that make sense so far? It aligns with what we call marketing operations, the execution of our marketing strategy to move our company forward and to serve the customer all along the customer’s journey to being a valued member of our community. Now, to be clear, this is not what the customer sees or experiences. This is what’s happening behind the scenes.

One of the questions people often ask about attribution analysis is, “So what? What does this tell us? What good is this information?” For example, here’s a recent attribution analysis from my website: Current attribution Click for a full size view When we talk about attribution reports, we often talk about what is working, how to know if our marketing is working. Consider this mindset shift though: An attribution report is an analysis of your marketing supply chain. Instead of telling you only about your marketing performance, an attribution analysis also tells you about the state and health of your marketing supply chain.

More importantly your masterful marketing may not be responsible for a supplier underperforming. For example, in the real world, if all your company’s goods are stuck on a cargo container ship stranded off the coast of Los Angeles, all the marketing and sales efforts in the world won’t restock your shelves. In fact, they may make things worth by creating demand for which you don’t have supply to fulfill. Likewise, when you look at your attribution reports, you are seeing what suppliers are sending you the attention of audiences. You see what your raw supplies look like - and with that mindset, you know which suppliers themselves might be in trouble if you’re not getting enough supply.

Paid Ads

For paid ads, advertising networks have done a great job of convincing us as marketers that any problems are our fault - bad creative, bad setup, etc. And that’s certainly not out of the question; we have all see our share of bad ads. But ad networks themselves don’t talk about the quality of their supply, of the quality of attention they sell to us - and yet that’s what an attribution report is also telling us. The next time you look at an attribution analysis, remember this key point: you are not just looking at your marketing performance. You are looking at the quality of marketing suppliers in your supply chain.

Once you think of attribution that way, your mind is open to thinking about where else, what other suppliers you could swap in to get the same raw materials your marketing needs to generate the products your buyers - sales - are waiting for.

Marketing Mastery Conclusion

It was a hard time for many businesses to stand out due to so many rival brands doing the same as them so it was an interesting time to see what digital marketing ideas companies would be coming up with next to make sure that they stood out from the rest of the businesses in their industry. Digital marketing has shown to be a great way for companies to bring in new business and to also keep existing customers and businesses interested in their services.

Email Marketing Strategies For Business Professionals

top email marketing strategies business professionals market content

Email marketing may not have the cutting edge, high-tech appeal of some of the other modern marketing tactics. But when done right, email marketing for business professionals can still be incredibly effective. In order to build a productive email campaign, business professionals should begin by examining the needs of their audience. A broad-based “spray and pray” approach is the quickest way to burn through your hard-earned email list. On the other hand, highly targeted value-add communications will help you build trust, drive referrals, and stay connected to your prospects and clients. Read on for some top email marketing tactics and major mistakes to avoid making.

Recently, I fortunately participated in a lively discussion with a thought leadership group comprised of forwarding thinking, young marketing experts. The topic eventually turned to the effectiveness of email marketing for financial advisors. Although opinions differed greatly on the types of campaigns financial advisors should leverage, there was one thing we could all agree on: Email marketing, when done correctly, is widely effective. But what does that mean for financial advisor email marketing? Email has certainly become a standard mode of communicating with clients and prospects, but it is overused? Do people care about the emails they get from a financial professional? Isn’t newsletter marketing dead? And, most importantly, should you make it easy on yourself and sign up for one of those services that will generate and send marketing emails for you? As with many things marketing, getting hard numbers and data can make the difference between a great strategic decision and a dead-end money pit. So, let’s look at some numbers. According to CampaignMonitor data for 2020, average email open rates across surveyed industries is about 18%. Financial services enjoy a slightly more favorable open rate than the average (18.5%). No surprise here: It’s better to have prospects opt into your campaign. The same resource suggests that open rates for permission-based campaigns (i.e. ones where a prospect or a client has given you permission to email them) range between 30% and 40%. That’s a significant upgrade!

According to HubSpot, 99% of people check their email at least once a day. That means you have a good chance of your prospect or client seeing your message when it comes in (as long as it doesn’t get caught by the spam filters). Campaign Monitor supplements that stat: More than 50% of their survey respondents check their personal email account more than 10 times a day, and it is by far their preferred way to receive updates from brands. Finally, marketers who use segmented campaigns note as much as a 760% increase in revenue acccording to CampaignMonitor reports. So, the data would suggest that the optimal combination for successful financial advisor email marketing should look like this: Ask for permission, send regular emails, make your messaging relevant for the recipient.

Which sounds like common sense. As always, the devil’s in the detail. And so, I wanted to share with you some common questions and specific best practices for financial advisor email marketing campaigns. These are the types of campaigns that a firm of any size can use with success. Campaigns can be super-simple, or you could go all out and have them professionally designed to suit your style. So, don’t feel that email marketing isn’t for you unless you have a big budget. Should financial advisors build an email list — or buy one? Most advisors I know would prefer to do things in the most efficient way possible. From that perspective, one might imagine that buying a list of (ideally) pre-screened prospects from a data company would be faster and better than building your own list through a sign-up form on your website. The reality is a bit more complicated.

First off, the CAN SPAM Act of 2003 requires anyone who purchases an email list with a commercial purpose to abide by certain rules. While those rules do not include obtaining explicit permission from the individuals on the list, they do require accurate transmission information (i.e. who the email is from), non-deceptive subject headings, a clear identification that the message is an advertisement, and an opt-out provision that gives the recipient a choice about whether they wish to receive future emails from you. If you are interested in a deeper dive into this subject, this FAQ article has good information. In summary, though, as long as you follow those requirements, you can send emails until the recipient opts out — at least in theory. In practice, buying a list of emails exposes you to additional risks. There’s a risk that the list was assembled through shady or outright illegal means (such as address harvesting or dictionary attacks). Plus, there’s an (admittedly small) chance that someone on the list has already opted out of receiving emails from you before you purchased the list. Either one of those risks can expose you to fines under the CAM SPAM Act.

What exactly is permission in this context? It could be implicit permission in the case of email recipients who already have a relationship with you (through doing business together, being acquainted socially, or being a part of the same charity or club). Or, it could be explicit permission, like when a prospect types in an email address to download a whitepaper or a checklist. What about “renting” an email list? There is another practice in the industry that’s known as “renting a list”. When you “rent” someone’s email list, they email their list of contacts on your behalf. You don’t get to see any of the email addresses. Think of it as buying an ad that someone will share with their list for a fee. Is “renting” a list better than “buying” an email marketing list? Not necessarily. It’s true that the risks are different for email marketing.

For one, even if you are merely renting a list, the recipients did not give you permission. The reader is not expecting an email from you, so they may feel annoyed and sold to — not the mindset you need to convert skeptics into clients. And then there is the elephant in the room. At the end of the day, the provider of the list (whether they sell it or rent it) is in the business of selling or renting lists. It’s in their best interest to sell / rent a list as much as they can to maximize their profit. That leads to the people on the list getting spammed with a high volume of unexpected and unsolicited offers. Your offer can get lost among them. You may also experience a high degree of unsubscribes, bounces, and spam complaints. All of that adds up to a low ROI. Bottom line: Buying or renting an email list may seem like an inexpensive shortcut to reaching more prospects. In reality, doing this can negatively affect the deliverability of the emails you send to legitimate prospects, spoil your reputation, and result in a poor ROI.

The names on any list you might buy or rent are likely to be “burned out” by too much spam. Think about it… If you spent years building a solid list of people who had opted into getting messages from you, would you sell it for just cents per email address? So, if a list is available for sale, it’s probably not the high-quality goldmine that the list company would have you believe. What should you do instead? Build your own list by having people opt into getting emails from you. Yes, a home-grown email list takes time to develop and nurture. However, doing this will keep you on the right side of the anti-spam rules — and it will be much more effective in terms of ROI and long-term practice growth potential.

Give your audience plenty of opportunities to subscribe to your emails by adding a form to several locations on your website. Limit the volume of data you collect up front (first name and email address are usually enough to get started). In other words, make it very easy for them to say “yes” and join the list. Best practices for financial advisor email marketing So, you’ve developed a list of emails from prospects or clients. How can you build an email marketing campaign that will nurture those relationships? Here are some ideas that can work well for financial advisors. 1) The financial advisor newsletter is alive! Believe it or not, the tried-and-true newsletter format is still an effective way of establishing an ongoing communication cadence with your clients and prospects. Most financial advice firms have transitioned the newsletter from the traditional hard-copy/printed format to digital. A digital newsletter is inexpensive and relatively simple to pull together.

Even if you choose to invest in a professional layout template, you get to reuse it multiple times, which can lead to a solid ROI. If you are considering adding a newsletter (or if you have one and are wondering if you set it up the right way), here are 5 best practices that can make it or break a financial advisor newsletter. Choose a frequency and stick to it. You may not think of it this way, but a newsletter can become an important component of building trust with the prospects who don’t yet know you. If you promise them a monthly newsletter, be sure to deliver a monthly newsletter. Generally, it’s better to pick a lower frequency that’s sustainable for you — than to promise a weekly communication and fail to keep it up. Create a central theme and a structure for your newsletter. Nothing wrecks your readership-bounce-rate like a mailer that’s disorganized or hard to follow.

You might brainstorm some re-usable topic categories that would strike a chord with your audience (perhaps highlighting an upcoming decision or action deadline, sharing a budgeting tip, a market performance update, a summary and takeaways from a recent book you’ve read, or a “get to know” section to present profiles / updates from team members). Make a clear path for someone to opt-out. The number one sin when executing a digital newsletter campaign is trapping your audience in a slow and painful “death by email” spiral. Nothing deteriorates your brand faster than spamming disengaged customers. Give your readers a clear off-ramp. Your newsletter will be better for it. At the very worst, you will know that your messaging needs to be refined based on an alarming rate of unsubscribes.

Give your images alt tags. Email clients (such as Outlook, Apple Mail, or Gmail) can be a tricky beast, and you never know what settings your recipient has enabled. If you are trying to spotlight a project, or if you have invested time in creating a beautiful layout, you surely want your recipients to see it! Giving an image an alt tag will allow alternative text to appear if the image doesn’t load. Also, be sure to test the formatting of your newsletter to ensure it will display right across different platforms. Reduce load times. Be sure to optimize high-quality images for digital viewing. Compress your images to maintain quality while reducing long email load times. Your clients and prospects are experiencing heavy information overload. You have just 1-2 seconds to grab a prospect’s attention. Don’t allow long load times on your emails to sabotage your chance! Promote your newsletter through your social media. Each time your send a newsletter, share one point on your social media profiles — and encourage your followers to subscribe to the list. This step takes virtually no time or effort — and can seamlessly deliver more eager subscribers. 2) Drip sequences can work, too. After a prospect has signed up for a lead magnet (such as a report, a white paper, or a checklist), some advisors follow up on the initial delivery with a short series of emails (something known as a drip sequence).

The purpose of a drip email sequence is to build trust, deliver value, and give the prospect an opportunity to take the next step in the relationship if he or she is ready. Here are some best practices for financial advisor email drip sequences. Segment your prospects. Relevance is the key factor that can make the difference between an email that’s perceived as valuable — and one that’s promptly sent to trash. If you reach out to different categories of clients or prospects, make sure that you have different drip sequences to suit their needs. In other words, pre-retirees and business owners should get different emails. This ties into developing your value proposition as a financial advisor; see this article for more tactical advice on that. Make sure that every email in the sequence adds value. The litmus test I like to use is whether my target audience is likely to save the email, print it out for reference, or forward it to someone they know. If the answer is “probably not”, then you need a different email — or you risk burning out your new subscriber quickly.

Use storytelling techniques to get the reader’s attention. Remember, they don’t know much about you yet. Stories are a powerful tool for connection and trust-building. A well-chosen and well-told story can immerse your prospect into what it’s like to work with you. Think of personal stories that will give your reader a glimpse into your personality, expertise, and experience. There are many great books about effective story structure, and this topic alone could make for a whole other blog post. For now, keep in mind that a story is most effective when you can clearly define a challenge or the stakes, walk the reader through several different emotions, and provide closure. Subject lines matter, a lot. You may spend a couple of hours refining your email to be just right, but if you don’t have an intriguing subject line, chances are that your open rates will be disappointingly low. According to a digital marketing consulting company Convince & Convert, 35% of email recipients open an email based on the subject line alone. So, invest some time to come up with a subject line that piques the reader’s interest and gives them the reason to click “open”. Watch your open rates and unsubscribes.

One or two people dropping off the list is not a big indicator, but if the pattern indicates that a significant percentage of subscribers opts out of your list on email # 3, perhaps you should reassess that specific email. 3) Use email to pre-announce events Are you planning to attend or host a local event? Email is an excellent tool to inform prospects and clients about it. If you are going to a local event and it’s open to the public, let your readers know and invite them to join you. A targeted email blast can allow you to begin networking at an event before it ever starts. Before promoting your own event, keep these best practices in mind. Give your readers a reason to care about the event. Just because you have decided to host an educational seminar, a wine night, or an art auction isn’t enough to entice a prospect to show up. You need to let them know why they can’t afford to miss it. Highlight future takeaways. If your key selling point is raising money for a charity or having fun, focus on that.

Don’t make your audience wonder why they should go. Tailor the event to your audience. This is another opportunity to segment your list and really think about what each client / prospect set would value most. A generic workshop may not be exciting enough to entice participation. It may be better to host two smaller, highly targeted events that will be well-attended. Make your email actionable. It’s not enough that the client or prospect learns about the event. Give them a specific next step. Perhaps they can register for the event or email the office for details. An email without an action will likely be forgotten quickly. Deploy a responsive design. Fast forward to the day of the event, and there’s a good chance that your client will be using their smartphone to refer back to the email you sent them with all the logistics. If you want to be successful like Mike Bloomberg, then you will need to practice these tips.

Plan ahead and make sure that your email is optimized for mobile viewing! Financial advisor email marketing: Round-up of mistakes to avoid To close this take on the subject of financial advisor email marketing, here are some common mistakes I have seen — and ways to avoid them. Unclear or misleading subject lines. It’s uncommon for financial advisors to use an outright misleading subject line, although it does happen sometimes. The more common mistake I see is choosing a subject line that’s boring, not sufficiently descriptive, or repetitive. Think of your subject line as a movie trailer: Make the recipient want to open it! Missing the mark on content. Not every member of your audience is interested in the same content. So, segment your list and make different content streams that are relevant to your readership. Your CRM system should allow you to use tags to facilitate this. And remember, whatever content strategy you start with is just a hypothesis! Be ready to monitor the response from your audience (open rates, link clicks, other interaction with content) — and adapt accordingly. One-way communication. Have you ever received an email from a “do not reply” email address? This type of tactic comes off as impersonal. It does nothing to encourage interaction.

When businesses send out mailers from a “do not reply” address, it tells the audience that it doesn’t care to have a reciprocal conversation. Let your subscribers and followers know that you are receptive to feedback — and you will be amazed at how active your subscribers will become. Too many links, no clear call-to-action. Backlinks to important content and resources can be helpful and convenient for readers. And as a thoughtful content curator, it is important to tread carefully with linkbuilding! Too many links can distract the reader from more important content. Don’t try to overly stuff your email blasts with information. Sometimes less is more. Instead, choose a point of focus — and optimize your email marketing to drive viewers to a clear call-to-action. Email marketing still provides business professionals with a consistently high ROI!

Tips To Modernize Business Marketing With Digital Media

how to modernize marketing digital media business advertising

Marketing has changed a lot over the last couple of decades. With email marketing open rates dipping down to about 10% - 25% or lower, most businesses need to try more innovative ways to reach their customers. By using new marketing strategies and taking advantage of popular tech innovations, businesses are able to keep customers updated. Consider the following four ideas when trying to replace email marketing.

Use PPC Ads

When making the shift from using email newsletters to marketing through other avenues, businesses should use PPC or pay-per-click ads like Google Ads (formerly AdWords). This type of advertising allows businesses to purchase ads that will be listed within search engine results.

When consumers search for relevant keywords, these PPC ads will show up alongside the regular search results, usually near the top on Google. Businesses only pay for the percentage of ads that are clicked on. Send SMS Updates When it comes to SMS marketing, businesses can expect to see open rates as high as 95%. This incredibly high open rate means businesses are able to reach their audience much more effectively through text messages. With the help of SMS services for small business, companies are able to guarantee that more of their customers will open, read, and act on the information.

Use Social Media Marketing

With around 3.5 billion people on social media, businesses that use social media marketing are able to expand their reach in ways they can’t with email marketing. This is especially true when you run a best network marketing business in 2020 that needs major promotion on social media marketing platforms.

By focusing their efforts on social media campaigns for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and similar platforms, businesses are able to actively engage with interested users. With regular posts, DM’s, and sponsored ads, businesses are able to target their audience through all forms of social media.

Create a Business App

Most brands today are hopping on the trend of developing an app. While customers have to download and use the app, most brands find that having a mobile app helps to improve brand recognition, build customer loyalty, foster customer engagement, and stand out from the competition.

When customers, even from an Iranian network marketing business, might otherwise not open an email after receiving an email notification, many businesses find that customers are more likely to open a brand’s app after receiving a notification. While still used in some circles, email marketing isn’t quite as effective as it used to be in the past.

Modernize Marketing

By turning to more effective marketing techniques, businesses no longer have to worry about how to entice their customers to open their emails. With PPC ads, SMS marketing, social media campaigns, and the use of mobile apps, businesses can improve the way they connect with their customers. Keeping connected with customers is key to modernize your marketing and advertising!

How Blogger Outreach Services Boost Business SEO

blogger outreach services boost business seo build backlinks buy links content marketing

Whether you're a brand new brand or business blogger, compelling content is critical. Content marketing is a crucial aspect of your digital strategy that you can't neglect. Having a blog with new top quality content every day, week, or even month can pay big dividends. But it can be very time-consuming for small or even established businesses and not all companies have experienced writers on staff that are also skilled in search engine optimization (SEO). That's where helpful professional blogger outreach services come in handy to help create content, build backlinks, or rank higher on Google.

You can work with an amazing agency like Bootstrap Business Blogger Outreach that has access to dozens of the best bloggers in all niches to write high-quality unique content for your company. This saves you significant time and money so you can put your resources into focusing on your company's core competencies like a bitcoin profit website or other business venture.

On the flip side, if you are a talented and experienced blogger, there are multiple opportunities for paid blogging work out there. You want to show off your writing skills while helping businesses to grow and succeed.

As someone who has successfully worked on both sides of the fence as a blog outreach agency and paid blogger for a decade across several industries, I have some expertise on these subjects that I'd like to share with you.

The Importance Of Business Blogging

As I mentioned briefly earlier, business blogging is critical to your company's success. First of all, having a comprehensive and updated business blog reflects very positively on your company. It shows that you are passionate about your industry and want to help your website visitors.

Secondly, your insightful blog posts help to convert website visitors into qualified leads or paying customers. Third, blog posts provide excellent content to share and discuss on your company social media pages. And finally, the more business blogging you do means improved SEO which will drive increased organic Google traffic to your entire website for years to come. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Why Utilize Blogger Outreach For Your Business Brands?

Business blogging outreach is an excellent strategy, but it can take up an incredible amount of time and resources. A single well-researched, written, edited, and optimized blog post can take several hours (or even days) for a skilled writer that is knowledgeable about any industry.

That means you are either making a full-time employee dedicate half of their workload to your business blog (taking away the time and energy needed for other pressing aspects of your business) or you're keeping a full-time content producer on the payroll for $50,000 in annual salary. These are incredibly high prices to pay for content when you can outsource to expert bloggers used to writing for website visitor conversions and Google search results

Earn Extra Money As A Blogger

While companies are looking for consistent and creative content that converts, there are plenty of talented and experienced bloggers out there in every niche looking for additional work. It can be challenging to find consistent work blogging and writing online, as a business or beauty blogger or other industry. Steady sources of income can be difficult for even skilled writers, especially in the beginning.

Paid blogging opportunities through blogger outreach agencies like Bootstrap Business Blogger Outreach can help to give you the stable income you need while you build your business, portfolio, and expertise. It's a great supplement to your existing blogging business and a valuable work experience possibility that you should take advantage of.

If you have a strong social media presence you can increase your earning potential even more. If you have the most Twitter followers or Instagram fans in your niche then you can monetize them by promoting brands.

Compliment Blogger Outreach With Smart Social Media Management

Another great way of expanding your business brand includes social media marketing. It helps to send crawlers to your web pages, drive traffic, increase brand awareness, and further boost Google ranking. By hiring an experienced social media marketing company or LinkedIn lead generation service, your overall digital marketing strategy will be improved exponentially. SMM is a great addition and complement to your blog outreach strategy.

Build Better Backlinks With Blogger Outreach

Content is still king and it needs to be produced consistently and effectively by industry professionals. Whether you are a biz brand in need of blogger outreach services, or an experienced blogger looking to earn some extra money, Bootstrap Business Blogger Outreach is an excellent company to work with. Now it's time for you to get blogging and make some big bucks!

How Marketers Can Choose The Right Video Production Company

how marketers choose best video production company event filming

Hosting a large event or filming an important marketing video is a challenging task for any marketer. Every step of the preparation process leading up to the filming is crucial to its success. It is undeniable that one of the most significant aspects of planning a big event is hiring a video production company. The right video production equipment and technology is fundamental in setting the tone, making the event even more unforgettable. But how do you choose an video production company for your marketing event or video shoot?

Top Technology & Excellent Equipment

Event production businesses stay on top of trends and technology within the industry to remain competitive. One indication that an audio-video (AV) company is on top of its game is the availability of high-end equipment and new tech. Anyone renting AV equipment knows that quality is a must, and the budget is only secondary. If you are comparing several companies, it will all boil down to which one of them has the best and most advanced equipment for your marketing needs.

Embrace Experience, Versatility & Dependability

AV companies cater to almost every kind of event. But there are some which have more experience in providing the services needed for particular productions. Are you hosting a business convention or a concert? With the goals of the event in mind, you may proceed with determining which video production company has the relevant experience to provide the best possible service.

Dependability is also an underrated and essential part of hiring the right video production company. If your videographers and video producers can't arrive to your event or shoot on time, it could cost your company big time. Video production companies that do experience delays such as traffic accidents or flat tires would still be able to show up for work if they contacted a top tower like Car recovery London.

Get Competitive Company Quotes

Do not get a quote from a single company. Get at least three quotes and scrutinize the details of each. What are the inclusions and exclusions? Which company offers the best value for money? Are you also looking into factors such as accessibility and logistics?

Some event venues offer the option to use an in-house AV company. If the location is otherwise inaccessible to 3rd party AV vendors, you may also consider hiring the in-house AV team instead. When it comes to pricing, the cheapest is not always best. With several factors to consider, make sure that you are selecting an AV rental service which will best serve and realize the intended outcome of the event.

Find A Full Service Film Company

The AV rental company also needs to include take-down costs as part of the quote. Post-event clean-up is time-consuming and worrying about removing and storing AV equipment should be the responsibility of the AV Company. Apart from the quality of the equipment, the company also needs to have reliable staff and employees who will handle the set-up, maintenance, and take-down of the facilities.

Communicates And Is Open To Ideas

As the client, you need to be able to realize your vision for the event. The AV company needs to be flexible regarding your ideas. A good AV company will act as your partner and collaborator, listening to your input and making sure that it is put into action. Although it helps for an video production company to have a distinct point of view, the client’s needs should remain paramount. If you the client want to make an unorthodox request like having your video be downloadable on torrents then a top AV production company should be able to oblige.

How Marketers Can Select The Best Video Production Company

Overall there is a delicate balance between the creative freedom of the AV company and giving in to the whims of the marketer client. As the customer with videography needs, it is also critical that you allow them to guide you in coming up with the best video production solutions to successfully execute your vision. If marketers follow the advice listed above, they should be able to choose the right video production company for their marketing needs.
